Verilux has introduced the Flat Panel Book Reading Light especially for diabetics. As a diabetic, you no longer have to worry about reading with your receding eyesight. It has Natural Spectrum technology incorporated into the system which translates into 3 bright white light LEDs. The contrast is well adjusted. A reduced glare-all ensures that the light is well adjusted for making reading easy. You can adjust the intensity of the light depending upon the natural light and dim or brighten it according to your own convenience. What’s more you can place this flat light in the book or use it as a bookmark as well.

Diabetes affects the vision of an individual on various levels. As result it may be difficult for a diabetic to read in low light conditions. This reading light has been designed in a way that offers maximum illumination thereby making it easy for the individual to read text that is badly printed. The discreet lighting option stresses on illuminating the page while the dimmer switch offers the option of varying the intensity of the Flat Panel Book Reading Light. The light is powered by 3 AAA batteries that offer sufficient light for reading the entire page.
